Ryan Ovenden

Ryan Ovenden is a Wealth Advisor based in Sioux Falls, SD, with 17 years of experience in financial planning. Ryan merged his financial counseling practice with Pinnacle Wealth in 2020 and says his purpose is to serve those who are serious about making a Kingdom impact using the resources entrusted to them.

Ryan has spent much of his financial services career developing a Biblical approach to stewardship and what it means to live as a responsible steward. In 2012 he engaged in a rigorous four-month course in Family Wealth Counseling under the mentorship of Stewardship Coach and Founder of Stewardship Research Group, Jay Link. And in 2024, he became a Certified Kingdom Advisor®. Ryan is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.

Driven by what is in the best interest of each client, Ryan says he customizes his guidance to his client’s needs and goals, and only makes suggestions that are in their best interest. He counsels clients to develop financial plans that will reduce anxiety by bringing purpose and clarity to their work, their money and their lives.

Born and raised in Sioux Falls, Ryan graduated from Roosevelt High School in 2000 and Augustana University in 2004. He and his wife Danae have been blessed with five boys and a girl. They currently reside in Hartford where they grow, learn and laugh a lot as they do their best to “live out God’s calling in the midst of chaos, joy…and lots of pet frogs.”
